The CITGO Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex, which will celebrate 75 years of operations in 2019, employs approximately 1,029 regular full-time employees and approximately 988 contractors in Southwest Louisiana, while generating nearly $500 million per year in support of the local economy. In addition to producing high-quality fuels, refinery employees volunteer more than 2,897 hours on average annually to support important local causes.
